Welcome!

Hi! My name is Ethan Patane and I am a 21 year old woodworker, woodturner, and CNC programmer/machinist from Pennsylvania. I work out of my basement shop to produce all sorts of products ranging from boxes to bowls to furniture! I have a fully functional basement workshop equipped with a SawStop table saw and central dust collection! I started woodworking/machining/fabricating after I attended a hands-on building camp in New Hampshire over the summer in 2013. Ever since then, I have been expanding my knowledge and my tool collection.

I attend Rochester Institute of Technology where I study Robotics & Manufacturing Engineering Technology. In addition to my studies, I am the Manufacturing Manager on RIT's Formula SAE team. This means that I am responsible for the manufacturing of all metallic components on the car that cannot be done manually. I also like to solve Rubik's cubes, yoyo, and juggle.

During the spring and summer of 2022, I worked for Moog Inc. in the Aircraft Group, programming, setting up, and proving out new processes for various military aircraft components. I worked primarily in the EDM (Wire/Sinker/Small-Hole) and 5-Axis prismatic groups. Working at Moog was an awesome way to meet tons of interesting people and rapidly grow my skillsets. Unfortunately, I cannot share pictures of my work there due to export regulations.
